A guilt-free crunch when you need to munch!
Ingredients:
- 1-15oz can garbanzo beans (chick peas)
- 2 tablespoons stevia
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Cooking spray
Air Fryer Directions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees
- Drain and rinse the chick peas in a strainer
- Place the chick peas in one single layer in the air fryer tray and cook for 5 minutes to allow to dry out
- Remove the chick peas from the air fryer and place in a separate mixing bowl
- Spray the peas with cooking spray for approximately 5 seconds while stirring
- Then add all spices and mix well
- Place back in the air fryer tray and cook for another 10 minutes, shaking up the chick peas a few times
- This batch makes 4 crispy servings!
Oven Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Drain and rinse the chick peas in a strainer
- Place the chick peas in one single layer on a baking sheet pan and cook for 10 minutes to allow to dry out
- Remove the chick peas from the oven and place in a separate mixing bowl
- Spray the peas with cooking spray for approximately 5 seconds while stirring
- Then add all spices and mix well
- Place back on the baking sheet pan and continue to cook for another 30 minutes. Shake the tray 2-3 times during this 30 minutes for more evenly cooked, crispy peas!
- This batch makes 4 crispy servings!
