Sweet and Spicy Crispy Chick Peas🌶️

Ingredients:

  • 1-15oz can garbanzo beans (chick peas)
  • 2 tablespoons stevia
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking spray

Air Fryer Directions:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees
  • Drain and rinse the chick peas in a strainer
  • Place the chick peas in one single layer in the air fryer tray and cook for 5 minutes to allow to dry out
  • Remove the chick peas from the air fryer and place in a separate mixing bowl
  • Spray the peas with cooking spray for approximately 5 seconds while stirring
  • Then add all spices and mix well
  • Place back in the air fryer tray and cook for another 10 minutes, shaking up the chick peas a few times
  • This batch makes 4 crispy servings!

Oven Directions:

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  • Drain and rinse the chick peas in a strainer
  • Place the chick peas in one single layer on a baking sheet pan and cook for 10 minutes to allow to dry out
  • Remove the chick peas from the oven and place in a separate mixing bowl
  • Spray the peas with cooking spray for approximately 5 seconds while stirring
  • Then add all spices and mix well
  • Place back on the baking sheet pan and continue to cook for another 30 minutes. Shake the tray 2-3 times during this 30 minutes for more evenly cooked, crispy peas!
  • This batch makes 4 crispy servings!
